I met his parents after maybe a couple of weeks of dating... It wasn't a big deal, I just went to visit his house and they were there. As for taking him home for the holidays, if you're not in a serious relationship (thru Match.com) I wouldn't ask him to sacrifice a holiday with his family for one with yours, I'm not sure if that's what you mean though. I guess I have to say that if you're both comfortable with the idea of him meeting your parents for the holiday then great, go for it, and if you aren't - well you probably wouldn't be writing here, yeah?Why not ask him what his plans are for the holiday and see if he alludes to anything?..

I think it's totally up to the 2 of you.  You need to talk to him about it and come to an agreement together..

Well a different state does make it more of a "thing" as it were. But if you keep the invite casual and stress it doesn't mean you think things are serious at this point, and also be clear about how everything will work - where will each of you sleep, how will he be introduced, etc. You want to give him a run down on the family so he knows what to expect, etc. Hopefully you'll have been dating (online dating with Match.com) a least a couple of months by the holidays.
