I understand your frustration and you may want to consider asking Nutrisystem for their help however while you are waiting also consider that the rate of weight loss will vary from person to person depending on many different factors such as: age gender starting bodyweight medications meal plan adherence exercise medical conditions menstrual cycle body composition.
Also look at your use of condiments, make sure that youa re spacing your meals every 2-3 hours and eating all 5 Medifast meals and 1 full lean and green..
When I had slow weight loss I found out that it was something so easily missed, coffee creamer. I stopped using it and walla. I also have found that I am an all or nothing type of gal so I have a hard time finding a balance like with exercise, at one point I was over doing it, so I had to stop, when I did that I had really great losses, now I am exercising again and my losses have slowed. Frustrating. So see, we are all different.
Again, Nutrisystem can help you to figure out what might be slowing you down re:8lbs in 4 weeks...
I am also curious, was it the exact same time of day both times? My weigh tfluctuates during the day as much as 8 lbs........
But either way I would contact Nutrition Support, go over your average day. You migh tbe doing something you think is correct that isn't..
But yes, you do need to eat all 5 Medifast plus your L&G. In this instance less does not equal more.......
I am hoping that I will show a bigger loss this (week, month). I was getting a late start on my meals and had to cram them into a time span of less than every 2 hours..
And ended up missing the 5th Medifast meal 2 separate days..
So I will make sure to eat on a regular schedule and see what happens.I am not giving up,but of course I want to see better results to keep me going...
Tweaking your schedule should show results. And, as stated above; don't miss meals. Bet you never thought you'd hear that on a weight loss site! Don't be discouraged!!..
Were you wearing the exact same outfit, what time of day, how much did you have to eat? Can you buy a scale for home?..
Hi Liz,.
I have the same problem on weekends. Since I sleep late on Saturdays and Sundays, I usually don't have my first meal of the day until around 11:00 a.m.
If I find myself in a time crunch, trying to get all my meals in, I'll double up a meal. I'll have 2 hot cocoas, or 2 puddings for my last meal(s), just to get that 5th meal in..
It's something I try not to make a habit of, but from what I've read in previous posts to Nutrition Support, it's better to get all 5 meals in than it is to skip a meal completely..
Now that I'm more aware of how to time my meals, I am getting better at it and can plan things out accordingly. Just takes a little time to get used to it. I also keep an "emergency" stock of the ready to drink shakes so I can grab one if I'm going to be out of the house for more than 2-3 hours. Helps keep me on schedule..
Carol..
