If you suspect unfaithfulness or something else such as porn addiction, then I would be very suspicious..
If there is no concern then it would not bother me..

My next door neighbor.
Wants to ban all guns.
THEIR HOUSE IS UNARMED.
Out of respect for their opinion I will not protect.
Them with my guns..
I have never been asked for any passwords or passcodes of any kind from a SO so I would find that odd. Also, I have never asked for a SO's passwords - I would think that it would be a private matter. ..
I guess email passwords are private and not to be shared. If my bf asked,i wont give but we have a level of understanding and trust so the topic has never come up...
For anyone who thinks in that way... That's unhealthy and psychotic to think you have the right to ask someone for their password. Don't put the cart before the horse in thinking someone not giving it to you means they have something to hide.

It wouldn't bother me, but I wouldn't ask for their password in the first place...everyone deserves their privacy... I wouldn't appreciate them asking for mine either, probably tell them to hit the road if they did. Why be with someone you don't trust?..
I have never been with someone who cheated nor am I a cheater...but if a man asked for my email account I wouldn't want to give it to him..
Not because I have something to "hide" really but because all correspondence with my friends and acquaintances (not to mentions boards like this) are private. Everyone deserves some private space..
I have a bf now...I have never dreamed of asking this from him and even if I did, I know not to ask. He is very private (like me) and would be annoyed, and understandably so!.

Everyone deserves privacy - that doesn't mean there is something to hide, just that you dont need to share everything.
