My question is: Any renewal coupons for Match.com?.

My 2nd question is: OK I need a little advice here. About 4 years ago a young lady rented an apartment I had available for 6 months. We are both similar ages. At the time I was dating (online dating with Match.com) someone, but we did hang out a few times and I felt some interest there plus she had a great personality and had great family values. I think it still would have been awkward due to a tenant landlord relationship..

Anyway she only stayed 6 months b/c she couldn't afford the rent anymore, and I lost her contact info. However I happen to find her on myspace and facebook so I put a friend request in. I guess we will see what happens. I am hoping she accepts the request and we can chat and see what happens and maybe ask her to get together. Plus her myspace profile says single..

I want to know what the best way to approach this is. If she does accept the friend request should I send her a msg right away and see if she wants to get together? Or just have some small talk for a while and then ask to get together after a few msgs back and forth? I don't want to seem desperate or needy by asking to get together right away..

I can send her msgs w/o being on her friend list. So if for some reason she does not add me should I send a msg anyway to see how she has been etc?.

I also know that she works a lot and is the manager of a very large restaurant chain in the area so I can always go there and have dinner with a friend and try and talk to here there if she doesnt respond online, But I wont do this right away Id give it some time. I don't want her to think I am stalking her or something..

Let me also add here that I have not had a lot of dating (online dating with Match.com) experince in my life so I don't want to mess this up. I have had g/f's but only a few..

Just depends on the girl. I personally hate small talk and dont like my time being wasted. I usually know what I want right away. If you say there was already a vibe, then she wont hesitate in saying yes right away anyways. If you were wrong and there was nothing, she'll turn you down. .

What I'm saying is, in my opinion, females generally would already know whether they want a date using Match.com with you or not so small talk would not be needed. .

If she doesnt accept your friend request, why in the world would you message her?..

First thing is are you still the the relationship (thru Match.com) or any relationship? If you are and interested in this girl then you need to end the relationship (thru Match.com) first. If you are free then when she accepts you as a friend, ask her if she is interested in getting together such as dinner. If she says yes then you can find out more how she feels while talking to her. Good luck.

However if for some reason she does not accept the friend request should I try and send her a myspace message? I know some people don't accept requests b/c they are not sure who the person is. I don't want to scare her away. I was actually considering going to the resturant that she managers with a friend for dinner, and hopefully she is there. This way I can talk to her in person. But I don't want to scare her away by doing all this too soon..

You have got to get ahold of her somehow. I see no problem with sending her a message on myspace, just tell her who you are in the message. Going to where she works would be ok, but she may be busy and unable to talk much but you may get a chance to ask her if she would be interested in going on a date using Match.com and then ask her for her phone number. If she is busy keep it short..
