Your question was: Anyone moody during Nutrisystem diet?.
There are lots of reasons you could be moody. Is your family behind you on this? If you're viewing this as a task you're going to dread though you might not go in with the best attitude and resent the foods others are eating. Or you could be going through some sort of sugar or carb withdrawl as well...
I also went through this feeling. I was so super excited about being in NS, but I was finally seeing just how much my life revolved around food. I felt so sad. My husband and I were going on a date and I was suddenly faced with what to do. We had always just went out to eat and ate whatever, or we went out for dessert and coffee. Suddenly I was at a loss for what to do and it made me sad.
It was really hard. So now- for our dates we go to Barnes and Noble, or the mall to window shop or something. It gets better, but for me, I am healing. It is me digging so I can heal and find the reasons why I let myself get this way to begin with. It does get better...

Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2010!!..
A lot of times, when I have made my girls dinner and they have their plates of food and see me opening my little plastic container my youngest will say, "poor Mommy" and make a sad face. Eating different food can alienate you from your family, but I try to explain to them that making bad choices for a long time meant that now I need help remembering how to eat well and it's good for me, not bad.
Just keep that in mind. This is good for you and will be better for your entire family in the long run as you will be healthier and happier and more available for them. Good Luck!..
I think everyone goes thru this at some juncture. My recommendation is make your food look/taste appealing..
Don't eat your dinner (especially dinner) out of the Nutrisystem container. Put it on a plate, add some veggies & a salad and you will feel like you are eating a meal and not on a "diet".
I swear, last night I had a taco salad, and I told my DH (who is also on NS), that if we served this to company, they never would have known they were eating NS.
The first week is the hardest. Don't set huge goals for yourself. Set 5 or 10 lb goals and you will be surprise how "undepressed" you feel when you obtain it......I promise this works.
Good luck, and post often!..
