My question is: Anyone using Match.com in London?.

My 2nd question is: I have been emailing back and forth with a man I met from an online dating (online dating with Match.com) site for about 3 months. (we are both in our early 40's)..

It started with an email maybe 1x a week. then went to 2 a week. .

2 months into it he gives me his phone # and asks to meet me, but I was about to move to a new house and put off meeting him for 2 weeks.

So yesterday I ask him if he still wants to meet...(we are now up to email everyday and occasional text message) and he says(emails) "sure, why not? we'll talk more about it later, right now I have to get dinner"......

Our emails are always pretty short and simple (getting to know you stuff). Always pleasent and fun. We live a little more than a mile apart..

But I am a little puzzeled. What's your take on this??.

So bring it up again the next time you talk... Sounds like he didn't want to get into that discussion when he had stuff to do. Fair enough. I'm a little astounded you've gone three months without seeing one another once and you only live a mile apart. Get the ball rolling, girl..

You are puzzled because you cannot tell he's tone from an e-mail. I personally cannot get to know someone without talking or seeing the person, but that's just me. I'm 29 years old and very old fashion. I think e-mail and texting is for flirting and BS-ing, not for getting to know someone. I want to hear the person's voice and the tone of certain things that is said. You have his phone # you should call him sometimes...

I;'m curious if you live a mile apart why you've put off meeting or even talking for so long a period of time. Maybe it's time for at least a phone call.
