I love LOVE the egg custard recipe!.
1 pack pudding (vanilla or chocolate are my preference).
1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
1 egg white.
1/2 cup water.
1 splenda.
Mix together well (magic bullet or blender), pour into a large microwavable bowl. Microwave on 70% power for 90 seconds (watching carefully), stir gently. Micro again on 70% power for 1 min. It will fluff up and flow over if you are not careful. I love this recipe..
That sounds great but I have a question- when you use all your daily condiment allowance in a Medifast meal, what do you do for your lean and green? Just bland non seasoned meat and veggies??..
Well, worse case scenario this uses 2 condiments and Medifast suggests you use 3 or less... so if you still have one condiment left then you could use that for your L&G..
You don't HAVE to use the splenda either. But this is a nice treat...
OH MY, that was wonderful. I just had it for my afternoon snack!..
How do you count the 1 eggwhite when factoring in the rest of your lean?..
I dont have my quick list here with me, but I believe 17 egg whites are counted as a lean serving so I divide whatever else I am having by 17 and have less. *I* would deduct it from my lean, so if I were having ground buffalo I would have 1/17 less which equals about 6.6 ounces instead of 7 ounces..
One egg white only has 17 calories, 0 fat, and 0 carbs...
I just had this at work. I used a chocolate pudding, splenda and two tbls of egg beaters. After cooking it following directions, I cooked for 45 seconds at high power. It was yummy and I didn't use as many condiments. Thanks for the idea...
This is a GREAT idea.... it is sooo cold out here I am using up my hot Medifast drinks, I am sure I will be sick of by the time it's warm enough to have my beloved thick shakes....
Going to have this tonight.. thanks again..
This is sounds yummy - can't wait to try it..
So I just tried this recipe and I'm not sure I did it right. Is this supposed to be thick when it's done? am I supposed to put it in the fridge to chill so it can set up before I eat it?..
