I have not made cakes but I add instant coffee to the Hot Cocoa for a mocha. Also you can make the Hot Cocoa into a shake with water and ice...
Do a search for hot cocoa recipes. Two I found are:.
Hot cocoa brownies.
HC mix.
2 Tbs water.
1 Tbs egg sub.
3/4 tsp baking powder.
1 tsp ground flaxseed (opt).
Mix and bake 350 for 10-12 min.
I bake mine in regular size muffin pan Makes 2.
You can also microwave it, I have no luck with that due to the altitude I live at..
Hot cocoa fudge.
HC mix.
2-3 Tbs da vinci SF syrup ( I've used caramel and vanilla and both are good).
Drop on wax paper and freeze..
Absolutely!!! Just mix a little bit of warm water with it first to make a paste, then whizz it up in the blender- I LOVE adding a pinch of cinnamon to it too....
Enjoy!.
Stacey..
I've tried a couple different recipes for the cakes with the cocoa and they never turn out...
I would think it would be fine. Today I tried the cappuccino for the first time. I shook it in the blender first and tasted it - was good. Poured into a cup and put in microwave. Not so good..
THEN I remembered that I don't much care for coffee hot anyway - I have always ordered my mochas on ice..
So from now on I'm going to make iced cappuccino..

My morning meal is an iced raspberry mocha (1/2 choc shake & raspberry ice tea) made with cold coffee and served over coffee ice cubes in my shaker..
Xoxoxox..
I use the cocoa as a shake. Add water and ice and blend. MUCH better...
I do this too. I prefer it to the chocolate shakes...
I know this might be a dumb question- but do you mix a small amount of water in to get rid of the lumps and slowly add the rest of the water mixing it? I have not just dumped and mix but I have heard it makes a difference. I know we all have different tastes but that is how I make it and I am like- wow! How lucky am I to be able to lose weight and have a delicious hot chocolate for breakfast every morning (go to breakfast for me because it's soy free)..
