The closest I have found was Vole's Awesome Fudge. Search the recipes board for it...very yummy!..
I mixed chocolate pudding and a chocolate diabetic shake together with about 1 1/3 cups of water, then dumped it into an ice cream maker. The sides of the ice cream maker became encrusted with frozen chocolate. I ended up scraping it off and topping the ice cream with it..
It was very much like shaved chocolate...
I had one around Christams that was yummy. I took a packet of choc pudding and one of hot cocoa and mixed it together, reserving just a bit of the hot cocoa mix for later. I added a couple packets of splenda and then mixed in one or two tablespoons of peanut butter, mashing it in until it is as mashed as it will get, then by adding drops of warm water (slowly, and I also varied this by using sf syrups instead) and a bit of vanilla. You just want it wet enough to make a small nougat sized ball. Then you roll it in the reserved cocoa (and I also put a packet of splenda here and some cinnnamon in the cocoa mix) then chill in the fridge for a half hour or so, if you can wait. Now if you use two PB you have to save half to eat the next day, that is why I often used just one and a bit more liquid.
If only one then you could have half at one meal and the other later, I liked that way! These are rich and sweet, kind of like chocolate fudge but no cooking!..
I made a version of the fudge but it turned out more like the texture of a brownie which was wonderful, but it is just too darn sinfully delicious for me to eat every day - addictive! And the frozen chocolate dessert thingy was good but it's been soooo cold here I've not had it in awhile. I'll try to get the latter recipe written up and posted to my public blog this week...
Oh yea ... I toyed with the idea of creating candy out of the bars around the holidays but never found the time. I do chop up bars and make them into "chips" for my chocolate chip muffins and cookies. Just add an extra Medifast meal to your existing favorite muffin recipe...
Unicorn's fudgy peanut butter balls were great! I tried em at Christmas!.
Btw, thanks sooo much for posting that!!!..
Yum! All these ideas sound great. I am going to try each. I really need to satisfy this chocolate candy craving I have-lol. Thanks a million everyone!..
I'm with you, Youngin I can't wait to try these either!..
Hi all, I'm a newbie and saw this thread.
I would love to get the Vole's Awesome Fudge recipe, but must not be searching in the right place, Mmmm...Recipe and Food Tips. The search brings me back to this thread.
Help Please!..
Hi!-here is the recipe..
Vowl's Recipe:.
1 package chocolate Pudding.
1 package Hot Cocoa.
4 tablespoons Chunky Peanut Butter.
1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
2 tablespoons SF Chocolate Syrup (Davinci).
1/3 C non fat milk.
Mix all together until well blended....then heat over LOW heat until peanut butter melts..
(Mixture will be very very thick/doughy).
I used a 8" x 6" square pan.....sprayed it with Pam..
Put the mixture in square pan and spread/level out evenly..
Place in fridge for 45 minutes - 1 hour. Cut into 12 pieces (huge pieces)...then hid it from your kids and/or hubby!.
I count 3 pieces as 1 meal PLUS your snack (for the Peanut Butter).
I think it is wonderful! Please let me know whatchas think.
Valerie****.
P.S. If you want to go into the thread with the recipe in it-type fudge in the search section on the top, and it's like on the 2nd or 3rd page.
HTH..
