Very strange indeed. I've never had a problem. I think I would notify medifast...

I always mix my tropical punch Medifast with crystal light, and keep in the fridge. I mix in individual mugs, from the magic bullet. I leave them overnight and have for my first Medifast meal of the next day. I havent had a problem. Maybe b/c you mixed a whole pitcher? I always have a tight lid on stuff I leave in there overnight. What kind of cover did the pitcher have?.

I used a 2Q Rubbermaid with an airtight lid. It's so strange!! I'm mad that I wasted 4 packets of the stuff and it ended up downt the drain!!.

The fruit punch tastes like rubbing alcohol to me no matter what it's mixed with, and for how long...

I pre-mix everything sometimes as much as 2 days in advance, then pour it back into water bottles for easy transport. I only use bottled water though I DON"T like our tap water it is very hard and to me, always has a funky taste. I was out of bottled one day and mixed one of my shakes with our tap water I couldn't even choke it down. Maybe bottled or filtered water would help...
