Tell him that you like him but that you cannot see him again until the wife moves out and the divorce proceedings are complete.  You have no idea if what he is telling you is true - yes, sometimes separated couples might continue to share a house until each can afford to live on their own, but it is less than an ideal situation for everyone and drama that you really don't want to be involved in.  It's also just as likely that they are still married and have NO intention of ever getting divorced and he's is feeding you a line of BS to keep you hooked.  So to avoid a potentially ugly situation, avoid HIM like the plague until he is divorced..

Uh, he's living with someone and they have a child. His status right now is taken. What in this scenario is fun? Yes protect yourself but also does his girlfriend/wife know according to him the relationship (thru Match.com) is over?.
