Your question was: Do you lose 2 lbs per week from Nutrisystem?.
All weight loss companies post a disclaimer about weight loss. The more you have to lose the more you usually lose in the first few weeks. Some people plateau, other's never do..
We live in a society where people love to sue if they don't get the same results as someone else..
1-2 lbs lost per week is a safe weight loss...
1 - 2 lbs is the average loss over the long term. Some may not lose their first week or two (and then go on to lose over 100 lbs) and others may have some weeks with no loss, but over the long term people tend to lose. No one can guarantee you a specific number. The actual weight you lose depends on so many factors including your age, metabolism, whether you have underlying medical conditions or medications you take that may impact your ability to lose, how strictly you follow the plan, your exercise routine, etc.
This isn't a controlled environment. But even if Nutrisystem could lock you in a room and control the food that you eat, they would still have the disclaimer as people are different and lose at different rates..
But if you have any lingering question whether this program works, take a look at the pictures in the Before and After thread...
Does Nutrisystem have a program where they lock you in a room and control everything you eat, cause I am all in for that ! Give me a good book and lock me away. Weight loss here I come ! LOL..
I think the biggest thing for me is not how much I lose each week, as much as learning how to break my old eating habits...
That's currently under development and will be launched in the near future...
NS accompanies it's testimonials with the disclaimer information "results not typical," as well as with information regarding remuneration, as required by (federal) law...
Depends on your body chemistry. Most of the time I only lose .5lbs a week. But i'm also type one diabetic and insulin resistant which makes weight-loss insane. If you don't have any metabolic/endocrinological disorders and you exercise often you could entirely feasibly lose more...
Thanks everyone! I am just learning how to use this site, and I just found your responses. Thanks so much!!! I've been on this two weeks and have lost 5 pounds...
BUT WHY is the disclaimer "results not typical" on everything? enen the pictures that show no people?..
