Hi mate, I had an abscess in my thigh , what happened to me was my right thigh went very tight and swollen, then after a few days it went real hot you could see the redness..

I knew I had a problem when it was an effort to walk up the stairs and to bend my leg..

So I went to the local A+E they kept me in for 4 days and gave me antibiotics 4 times aday into my vein, if I left it any longer the surgeon would have had to have drained it, MY ADVICE IS IF IN DOUBT GET IT CHECKED , I waited for 4 days before I went to the hospital and it could have been a lot worse..

Had a bicep abcess a few years back, arm looked like ronnie colemans lol. waited 3 days went to A&E called me a bad boy and gave me co-amoxiclav an oral antibiotic which worked. I have also had unusual fluid retention on knees before which did go away after a few days..

Rianabol that sounds like what I had fluid retention as mine also went away after a few days just like yours mate just glad I was lucky enough for it not to be an abses it's opened my eyes though much more careful now dont wana be geting an abses no body does lookin good mate..
