I wouldn't attach any particular significance to his telling his mom about you.  It's just too soon to tell whether he's the type of guy who tells his mom about pretty much everyone he dates or only the women he sees as potential "keepers".  I've dated both types of guys so I've learned that it doesn't mean much to some guys. .

It's great that you cleared everything up.  I'm sure it is a load off of your mind.  I wouldnt read too much into his conversation with his mother.  Enjoy the holidays together!..

Although I wouldnt really attach anything to it, and I would take things as they come, it's definitely a great thing. Imagine how youd feel had he not mentioned you at all? So you have nothing to worry about!.

Thanks for your post.  I posted my question, because I had not told my parents about him...all they know is I am dating (online dating with Match.com) someone, but they don't know his name, what he does, etc.  I am taking things as they come...one day at a time...not rushing things..
