It sounds like it would be pretty good; but honestly I'd hate to give up all three of my veggies to that. I like to split my L&G during the day so I don't normally have veggies left over to add to Medifast meals. Still, this looks like it would be pretty decent...
So make it w/ 1 cup of broth and 1 serving of veggies! Easy.
I was trying to use up veggies because I've been eating string cheese for my lean today. Yum...
Which? To me makes it seem like... soup. Nuthin' special. I'm sure it's great and I bet a lot of people will like it/make it. But for *me* it doesn't sound like something I'll make. Obviously YMMV.
I've gotten a lot of good recipes that I *do* use that way! Keep experimenting!..
Sounds great thank you for sharing. I love creative people on the boards, becuase I know I'm not one. LOL...
I definitely agree. Without folks like Freya (and all the others who bring me great recipes!) I would be drinking shakes and eating bad soup all the time. :-)..
Could do it with eggbeaters or real eggs too of course!..
I use FF low sodium chicken broth. Bring to boil. Add a small amount chopped scallions. Have 1/4 cup egg beaters ready and remove from heat and swirl egg beaters in from measuring cup. Let sit for a second. flavor with low sodium soy sauce..
This way it is a snack and not veggies. Subtract egg beaters from lean. Soy sauce from condiments. I use such a minimal amount of scallion I don't subtract from my veggies for it...
I do it because I find soups more filling and satisfying a lot of the time, than just the food on it's own. When I make the Medifast soups I add extra broth and it fills me up better. But then, when I make the shakes I do them with almost 2 cups of water and 3 handfulls of ice, and then I keep adding water to it as it gets lower..
I like my extra liquids...
