I do consider someone's religion and whether or not they practice their religion because I dont practice ANY religion. I dont care if someone likes to get together with family on their religious holidays because I can enjoy them too, but I dont want someone who is so devout that it gets in the way of us relating or agreeing on values or if he is someone who wants to convert me. ..
I agree that I don't like judgmental people especially if they do this all in the name of their religion. Seems so contradictory!! I was surprised that you prefer Christian faiths. I'm of a Christian faith and I've found them to be very judgmental! and this has made me pull away from this some..

I wouldn't like it if someone was trying to convert me either!! Had this happen once - wasn't fun. Don't you think that religion has a lot to do with values? I mean it seems to shape who we are..

I'm non-religious, but I'm not necessarily athiest - I'm still Christian leaning for the most part but non-denominational. It's what I've grown up with and I find many Protestant faiths are pretty low-key. I grew up in a low-key one although I don't follow it anymore. I live in the South where there are a lot of NON-low key religious people but I also find that even most Christians are relaxed enough in their beliefs that they are OK with mine too. .

This is obviously a hot button issue between a couple and one it's best to discuss values about early on!.
