My 2nd question is: To not say certain things that may lead me on?.

Quick background, I have been seeing man now for a bit whom is an ex from two years ago.  At this point, I think I understand him pretty well, but there is one issue he has that I need to address with him, but I don't want to screw things up..

If we are just hanging out and having a good time, he will drop certain lines and phrases that in the past really lead me on, and now that we are back together, I find that he is doing it again.  He will talk about things months in the future.  Or talk about me meeting people..

Two years ago, my brain would go have gone wacko thinking he was getting serious about me.  I know now that he was in the moment.  Things just pop out..

I just don't want to get hurt.  I'm trying to really look after myself here.  How do I tell him nicely that what he has just said sounds like it's serious?  Or how do I tell him to stop?.

Or should I?  I mean maybe I just need to work on myself...
