True, but Murad Acne Complex is one of the most powerful teratogens out there. More than alcohol, more than cocaine...it's serious stuff.I agree, sometimes it does seem like overkill. If you're responsible enough to avoid pregnancy on the drug, you probably don't need the 20 extra pages of reminders. But it's necessary overkill, a "better safe than sorry" thing. You've really got to hammer the message home to people who otherwise might not take it seriously...

One Murad Acne Complex pill if you accidently become pregnant can cause tetergenic effects. Vit A is highly toxic anyways, but it is highly toxic to a fetus. It is know that most women have gotten pregnant in the first month before taking Murad Acne Complex and the last month after the course is over. Really I pledge has helped some, but there were still 120 pregnacies alone in 2008. Not to mention the ones not reported. 30 physicans were sanctioned for not abiding by I Pledge, they lost thier licenses to prescribe it...

It is overkill for those of us that are being mature and responsible.However, accidents happen (although they never should if you're following the two method process) and some people are just dumb. Murad Acne Complex needs to account for that if they want to stay approved by the FDA...
