Your question was: Has anyone found Love on Match.com?.
My Dad is still alive and getting better!!.
In 2006 I almost lost my Dad to heart trouble. He went through a wicked divorce (not my Mom), so I got him back in another way as well. His wife didn't like me (since the divorce, we've found out she is bipolar) and so for almost eight years I didn't see him and hardly spoke with him. He'd sneak a call in when he was at work sometimes..
He lives close to me and I have a Thursday night standing date using Match.com with him. Sometimes I complain about this (and I know that I shouldn't), but I love it. I won't ever have a normal father/daughter realtionship with him again, but what I have is good enough..

..
1. I love my family and friends.
2. I am greatful to be alive surving a roll-over car crash without any injury. Someone above, my late mother or grandparents, were watching over me .
3. A business colleague assisted me when he had no personal gain.
Overall, I am a very fortunate lady..
Enjoy the time with your Dad - mine passed away 2 years ago last Thanksgiving. I miss him. We had lots of years of anger and misunderstanding in between us but finally worked through it. I don't regret things not said - but I do wish we had more time together to enjoy the relationship (thru Match.com) we had developed. He knew I had forgiven all the hurtful stuff and accepted him. I know he deeply loved me and was so very proud of me. And I am grateful that I have that knowledge..
I am grateful that I still have a wonderful relationship (thru Match.com) with my Mom and brother's family and can see them regularly..

That's a lovely thought. I always find it a good thing to come to this board and see the thriving community of "sisters" eager to help one another..
