Things had been iffy with my ex and I, but we were still trying to make things work...or so I thought.  I knew he was dealing with some issues, and when his mom answered their phone one night, I asked her if she knew what was going on with him..

Her reply, "Well, Ken said you broke up...that it was mutual and were both going your separate ways.".

I was shocked and told her that I wasn't aware we had broken up.  She was VERY upset at the fact that he had told her we had broken up when he hadn't had the guts to do it yet.  I was so angry then...now I find it amusing that his mommy dumped me...

I went on vacation for a week with my bf of 6 mos. when we got home he dropped me off at my house and didn;t call for a week. then, he asked me out to dinner and started the conversation right after we sat down with:"have you ever heard the phrase familiarity breeds contempt? well, after spending a week with you, I find you really annoying. I am not dating (online dating with Match.com) but could not help myself - the worst possible break up line is the absence of one. There is nothing worse than a man gradually dissapearing because he is too much of a coward TO break up, and because he THINKS that 'she will get the message'...
