I think all the drinks need the magic bullet to make them work! Could you take the ready to drink shakes? They are good. If you don't have to fly, I'd order a couple cases of those. A little bit more expensive but they taste good which will help you to feel good about the plan. Two weeks of lumpy drinks would get really old.....
I have used the ready to drink (RTD) shakes for travel and found them to taste very good cold or at room temp. I just recently read on the boards that Medifast now offers RTD shakes by the case (they only come in choc. or vanilla). I hope they give us a break on price by the case because they were charging $2.49 for one shake. Yes, it's expensive, but when you need it for travel it's worth the price..
Good luck...
RTD shakes come in a hard cardboard box that is plastic coated and comes with a little straw sttached that telescopes out to normal size. Those straws are cute!..
I think i'm going to try the RTD shakes...
The RTD choc shakes are wonderful and they are available at the 10% discount/case on the Medifast site...
BT2006-Are they already at a discount, or do you have to put in some type of discount code? I would so much rather buy the RTD shakes then make them, but I have held back on it b/c of the price. Thanks!!!..
I'm going to be going out of town soon, and I'm going to do some baking before I go and stock up on oatmeal cookies and cream soup crackers. They're easy to carry around and don't need to be refrigerated all the time. And they taste really good, too!..
I plan on taking my Magic Bullet when ever I leave for get aways, thats one of the reasons why I bought it (for the portability and space saving). So if for what ever reason you don't like the RTD shakes the MB fits nicely in a travel bag with a few packets of pudding and shakes.....
Definitely bars, RTD shakes are a great idea, otherwise the regular shakes will do, hot drinks are great - it's pretty easy to get hot water anywhere (hotel coffee maker?), and if you can do some baking before you go that always works for me. For 2 weeks you will need to refrigerate the baked goods though...
