There's only one person on earth who knows for sure if he'll call you again. There's no magic recipe for patience. I wish there were. From what you've written it does sound likely, but this is one of the most aggravating and hair-pulling parts of life and there's no cure for it. He's another individual with thoughts and feelings that, right now, are completely unknown to you. It's annoying being in the dark. The best you can do is to keep your life moving forward.
I hope things work out for you. I think if your instincts are telling you he'll call again then you're probably right...
Unfortunately these things are a bit like high school. Hopefully he will call. If you want you can send him a short casual email saying it was really fun to see him again after all this time.

Okay here is a followup to my dating (online dating with Match.com) dilemma with the guy I dated in high-school..
We went out on a date using Match.com (dinner) it was very nice. In the parking lot we gave each other a hug and he said he'd call. I sent him an email the next day and said I had a good time and it would be great to get together again. He emailed back and said: It was nice seeing you, will keep in touch. I'll call you this weekend. Kinda of a mixed message I thought, any thoughts?.
.
Thanks ..
Not sure I understand, how are the words "I'll call you this weekend" a mixed message? Seems pretty clear to me...
I know this sounds like overanalyzing (and advice from a guy is great by the way.) I just thought the "will keep in touch" sounded like he wanted to just MAYBE get together then. I do agree the I'll call you next weekend seems clear but because they were both in the same message I got kind of confused...
