Your question was: How do I count a hamburger bun on Nutrisystem?.
Thanks, Pam! You have been my inspiration this week! (My first!)..
Yesterday for the first time I saw multi grain hamburger buns and they were the store's own brand. Never saw that before!.
I want Pam to move in with me and be my personal Nutrisystem consultant...
Pam would be great but can I have Jillian instead please?..
Deal!.
(but I think Bob plays for my team, too!)..
Pam, you are definitely an inspiration, I'm telling my hubby about you. We've just started on Nutrisystem and I've done WW so it's not difficult for me. I've actually only got ~10-15 lbs to lose but I'm doing this for hubby, who has ~30-40. He loves all the wrong kinds of foods and is pretty set in his ways. As I hate to cook we eat out a lot so I have a lot to learn as well.
M2marsh and Miss_Bubbles, you two are a hoot...
I always wondered......Oh well I'll use him for arm candy if nothing else..
My husband found the best "buns" for me...something new. Earthgrain 100% natural thin buns. 100% multi-grain; 100 calories a serving; no high fructose corn syrup. This is a whole bun...2 slices & very good. I had one the other day with my Nutrisystem hamburger. Tasted great..
100 calories, 1.5g of fat, 150 mg. sodium, 3g sugar, 4g fiber, 21g whole grain...
Yes, a lot of us use and love those, Lifesweet. Pepperidge Farms, Oroweat and Arnolds all make a similar product, also...
Yep those "rounds' are great and work well with lunchmeat for sandwiches with kids. No breadends for finicky kids and whole wheat healthy...
