Your question was: How do you send a "not interested" when someone winks at you on match.com?.
I don't feel that I am but all my male friends say that I come off very confident and I have a stand-offish way to me. I just think I am confident but guys read it as snob..
It's probably your attitude that you can't get a date using Match.com coming through, I'm sure you're eminently datable. Why don't you do group activities where there are men and women, casual ways where you get to know guys first as friends and vice versa. And ask friends if they know anyone to set you up with. Good luck.

Hi Nicsunshine1984,.
Sorry for jumping in late, but I couldn't sign on to the board yesterday..
Welcome to the board!!.
Don't worry about a little dry spell. After my divorce I was worried about getting back into the dating (online dating with Match.com) game. I'd been out for a while!!!! I read in a dating (online dating with Match.com) book that a smile is really eye catching. I thought that was stupidly simple, but it couldn't hurt to try. Well it did make my face hurt a little. LoL. But it worked. I made myself smile at almost everyone I walked by. Heads started turning everywhere I went. And more people said hello to me than I had ever experienced. Oh, and look the person in the eyes when you smile at them!!.
Good Luck,.

I guess it's worth a try, a smile can't possibly hurt anyone but my face..
