My question is: How does Match.com match people?.

My 2nd question is: I met a guy recently at a work related conference - we hit it off for two days and ended up in bed together the last night.  We fooled around but didn't have sex.  We did some serious pillow talk about not having met someone like one another in such a long time and how we were willing to work at it to see one another..

He asked me to stay with him for the weekend but I declined because I have a 2 year old at home.  However at the last minute I decided to stay and then backed out again when his reaction wasn't as exuberant as the night before. .

I e-mailed him two days later over the weekend because we had talked about getting together for a couple of days when I traveled to his city for business.  I let him know I'd be coming in earlier than expected..

He responded a few days later saying he would be in town, to call him and we could get together..

I took that as him blowing me off because we had specifically talked about spending the two days together and he wanted me to stay with him. He was the one that asked me to come in earlier than I originally planned..

Now he's playing it cool and he was the one that said he didn't have time for games!  I was looking at this as being a fun and laid back couple of days with him and now I'm trying to decide whether I should just blow him off because it sounds like he was just trying to get laid..

I haven't dated much in the past three years being a single mother and I'm just confused.....
