Your question was: How much weight will you lose per month on Nutrisystem?.
Thank you so much, you are very kind..
Guess I just need encouragement a little. I keep thinking "what am I doing wrong?" maybe instead of "hey, baby steps here girl.".
It didn't come on overnight and it ain't gonna go off overnight either..
Lord give me patience and I want it NOW!!!!..
Here is the way I looked at it. When I was 150...then 160...then 190...then 200...and all the way to 230...you know, I could have stopped it and done something about it at any time. I didn't NEED to get so fat, but I let it happen. Now, this is something I did to myself...I ate, pure and simple. I didn't have babies (couldn't blame pregnancy), I didn't have medical problems (no meds to blame)...I had one big problem only...I ate until I got fat. I didn't exercise, I sat.
Finally, I got some sense and decided that I was being an idiot...a spoiled brat who was just giving in to her wants and not paying any attention to what was right: Eating and exercising..
Once I got that sense, I determined that nothing or no one, not any negatives in anyway whatSOever were going to deter me, make me feel bad or keep me from my goal: Eating right and exercising..
Speed of loss didn't make a difference. Nothing made a difference. This, finally was for LIFE..
Took me from 230 ugly, fat, horrible pounds to a lean 125...and has kept me there for almost 3 years now, come September...
Gen I started on 4/26 and have lost less than you,,,,,,I am also following the plan and doing everything right,,,,,,,,and I also wrote a very similar post regarding my weight loss,,,,and got a very similar reply from the same wonderful person you did,,,,,,,,soooooo as usual she is right,,,,,,it must come off at it's own pace,,,,,,,,,,,if you would like to keep in touch to bounce off one another let me know,,,,,,,,,..
And Pam,,,,,,,,,you are an inspiration for all of us,,,,,,,thank you so much for what you do and also for caring,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..
I understand completely!! I think we all dream about getting on that scale every week and see a HUGE change in the right direction but remember to look at the other "measurements" as well. Inches, the way your clothes fit, your energy level...you already increasing your exercise time, that is GREAT!.
I am wishing you (and everyone) great success and yes it is a journey!..
Gen...Pls listen to wise Pam, who is always most helpful.
I have lost 9-10 lb.s this month, whi"see"h is my first month or 100% Nutrisystem in a year. Right now, I've plateaued. It happens. When I move off the plateau, I'll lose 1-2 lb.s a week 'til I plateau again, probably for 1-2 weeks...
I started at 230...lost nothing the first 2 weeks, zip, nada, zilch...and ended up losing 6 the first month..
Never, ever, ever compare yourself to anyone else. Age, heredity, exercise level, past eating and dieting habits, EVERYTHING plays a role..
You follow the plan, you move your tush, you drink your water...and don't stress or fret, whatever you do...and you will lose at your own correct rate..
You are doing GREAT..
Did I say don't stress, don't fret?.
Ummm...pretty sure I did...
Thank you so much, you are very kind..
