As long as you and him are happy, I don't see an issue.  Just be sure your motives are in the right place and I'm not sure how to do this, but be extra careful in breaking this to your son.   And be sure your man doesn't try to have authority over your oldest!!!.

Our society is getting a little closer to accepting the age difference idea, but there is still room for tons of improvement..

It's only six weeks so obviously early days but in the long run the only two people whose opinions count about whether or not this relationship (thru Match.com) can work are you and Brandon.  For now just go with the flow..
