Your question was: How to prepare Nutrisystem pudding?.
I always add a tbsp of cocoa and some cinnamon. One of the my favorites..
Lynn.
And the black mini poodles..
Goldieann just gave 2 recipes, and the easiest way for me, is to just eat it as is, and put it in a tall goblet layered with bananas or strawberries and top with FF Cool Whip. Love this in the summer! It's even good 'almost' frozen!..
I like it just as is. Cocoa would be a free food as would a bit of FF cool whip...
Thanks Goldieann, I like the recipe for those puffs, I might try that!.
Jeanie..
Thanks everyone. I think for tonight, it might be just simple with sliced strawberries and FF Reddi Whip..
Jeanie..
If I have not eaten all my fruit and protein, I put it in the blender with frozen strawberries and ff milk. Or a banana and milk. This is really good...
Ooops, I DO mean a half a banana. Different thread but long discussion on bananas elsewhere...
I use torani syrups to make the pudding which gives a deeper chocolate flavor. Sometimes I mix in ff ricotta, sometimes I eat the pudding warm..
Jen..
I love it as is. Make sure you use milk instead of syrups or water, it does not thicken up the same with other liquids. Stir stir stir as soon as you start pouring the milk or it will start to lump up on you.
As additional add-ins, ff whipped topping, extra cocoal powder, cinnamon, pb2, and sugar free syrups are all good choices.
I order large quantities of these for my dessert choice...
OOH PB chocolate pudding....what a concept!.
Lol stop that, you're makin me drool!..
A few drops of peppermint extract is good too! chocolate peppermint...
Maybe a drop or 2 of vanilla, chocolate vanilla?..
I love it as is. Have done the peanut butter addition, too. If you want it nice and thick, stir the powder into 8 oz of plain FF yogurt. Add 2 or 3 packets of sweetener to it. Other good add-ins are fruit, mint extract, orange extract, cinnaomon, a spoon of instant coffee dissolved in a little hot water (as little as possible). Combination are endless.
I wish Nutrisystem would come out with more powdered pudding flavors. I AM NOT going to order the frozen puddings because I'm not spending extra money...
I can't get into their pudding. It has a sharp taste that turns me off. I still have one pack left from my 2nd box as part of the free dessert. I might try to use it as a recipe to hide the taste...
I love the pudding and have always eaten it as is. I have a few packages left so I may try a few of these suggestions to jazz it up a bit..
I have had 2 occassions where it did not set-up properly. I don't know what I did differently. I carefully measure the milk and I stir thoroughly to avoid those clumps and make sure everything is mixed together well...
I like to add a heaping tsp. of PB2...love that chocolate/peanut butter taste!..
I like it just as it is... but will mix it up earlier (like when I am preparing dinner) then cover it and let it sit the fridge for awhile to really thicken up!!..
This is my fav dessert (though I just discovered the cheese puffs!.
I order mostly the pudding (and I was never a pudding eater before!).
I like it without adding anything, but will put a little Reddi Whip on top if I happen to have it. (I also put a little RW on top of my yogurt (Carbmaster cherry) and that is delish!!).
Rene..
I am going for this today! Sound's terrific, thanks for the idea...
