If you like chocolate, you can add SF chocolate syrup. I've always liked chocolate/banana shakes...
I just made a banana shake cake with chocolate SF syrup over it, it was eatable! I dont like the banana shake too. but it was good for breakfast..
I love them!!! I use 8 oz. water, 1 Splenda and a handful of ice. I blend in my Magic Bullet until it's like a banana daiquiri. Yummy for the summer month. I do the same thing for the orange cream. If I have room in my plan for a little more protein, I use 1 oz.
It makes the shake creamy...
What is SF chocolate syrup and where do you get it?..
I couldnt stand any of the fruity shakes so I sent mine back. I like the vanilla, choc and mocha ones. And you can send back a box if one is missing. They will send you the ones you like. I also think the 70 taste better then the 55's but just my opinion...
It's also quite tasty if you toss in 1 Tbsp of WF peanut butter spread and 1/2 Tbsp SF caramel syrup...
Walden Farms has a line of Sugar Free Syrups. They are sold at most Super Targets. I have also found them at Publix and Kroger. If you need to, you can get them online at waldenfarms.com...
SF simply means sugar free. There are many different brands, so just go to your local Target, Walmart, or large grocery store and have a look. Many are calorie free as well, but just be careful with that. Zero calories can actually mean less than 5 calories per serving, not actually no calories...
The SF syrups are most often found in the coffee/tea section of the grocery store. Additionally, WF also makes a SF chocolate syrup, and I found it over in the area where they keep chocolate/caramel sauces for ice cream sundaes and stuff, along with cones, sprinkles, etc...
If you have a Cost Plus World Market near you they carry a pretty good line of Torani Syrups in sugar free. Also can be found at Cash & Carry markets if you have that. It is the flavored syrups that get added to your coffee at Starbucks..
As for the banana shakes I personally like to add a little sweetener and a drizzle of coconut extract, then blend it with ice. I also like to blend the shakes with ice ahead of eating time and then put them in the freezer. They come out as a tasty, slushy treat to eat with a spoon...
I like the banana shakes hot with SF cinnamon syrup. Tastes like baked banana for desert...
Even simpler - Blend together 1/2 packet of the banana shake with 1/2 packet of one of the other shake flavors (chocolate, strawberry, orange, etc.) I'm sitting here drinking an orange banana shake right now & it tastes Yummo! Can't wait for a chocolate banana shake (my 2 favorite flavors in anything - Medifast or regular food!).
P.s. - sometimes I do the same thing with the chocolate & banana puddings..
I dont like the banana shake either so this morning I made a shake cake, my first one and it wasn't bad. Preheat oven to 350. You mix together the shake packet, 1 sweet n low or splenda, 2 tbs. egg whites, 2 tbs. water, and 1 tsp. baking powder.
Let it cook for about 15-20 minutes and you have a mini cake...
Thanks everyone for the awesome ideas, I will try them all and see which one works for me the best. I appreciate all the feedback!..
