Well, depending on your taste you might like it differently, but I've added a couple shakes of marjarom, tarragon, or mrs dash extra spicy (don't overdue any of them, you don't want to go over your condiment level for the day, even if they say 0 calories they can have up to 5g of calories per serving before needing to be reported on the nutritional label!). Tabasco and Frank's Red Hot is nice also to spruce it up at first as well..
I had to add stuff to them the first couple of days, but I'm in day 10 now and eat them without adding anything, they taste fine...
Try soaking it in a cup of Swanson's chicken broth instead of water. Add a little pepper.
Also, overnight soaking helps, too.
You'll be suprised at how much more you'll like the flavoring without adding more stuff.
JMO.
This is one of the Medifast meals I eat at least three 4-5 times a week, I love it!..
I ad 1/8 tsp of chicken boullion granuals and some red pepper flakes. Let it sit for 2-3 hours then micro for 1 1/2 min. Yumm...
I make mine in the morning and let it soak. I like to add either cayanne or hot sauce. I usually add some cut up fresh celery for crunch. Today I added leftover grilled veggies from last night. Super good. I also add more water than suggested.
I alternate between this and the chicken noodle every day for lunch. Good stuff...
All I do is let it soak over night...
I use 1/2 of a low sodium bullion cube and several grinds of garlic pepper seasoning.
I eat my soups out of a large mug. I put in the soup and seasonings, pour boiling water over, and cover the mug. I've found that using this method only requires about 15 minutes of "steeping" to become tender and yummy (well, except the chili - that requires much more soaking to be palatable!).
Anyway, prepared this way I really love the Chicken and Wild Rice soup!..
Thank you all for your suggestions. I will give them a try!..
