Congrats on your HONESTY (it can be hard to admit falling off the wagon, trust me, I know) and on being back in the saddle!! At the least, it sounds like you learned a lot during those 8 days, and as long as you keep your newfound knowledge with you, you will succeed! Hope you enjoyed your vacay, now let's get back to fat-busting business..
LOL MallieFYES! Fat busting it is. I suppose this is part of living. You grow from what tests you and then continue on. I really do love this program and realized I feel so good when I'm working the program (in control, healthy and have energy). It's nice to know that the grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side, ya know?! Thanks for the kind words. Today has been a GREAT OP day!!! Yahoooo!..
Hey, thanks for posting and welcome back! It was really good to read about your experiences. I will be going to Disney World for the first time ever (and don't ask how old I am! LOL) and will be taking my stuff with me. I'm worried about the bathroom thing! But I think I don't have to go quite as often as when I started MF. Would you believe, I think I am going to take the microwave with me to the hotel (there isn't one in the room and my DD has one in storage for the summer (college kid)). So, I think I'm going to bring it! We're driving (again on the bathroom thing... nervous).
Can't think what else to bring! Any ideas gladly accepted!..
Denise ~ Great to have you back!!! I went off plan last October when I went to Italy, and struggle for months to not cheat. I have totally recommitted and taking one day at a time. We CAN DO this!!!!.
Abby ~ I went to Disney last summer for 8 days and stayed 100% OP. I had mostly the cold drinks throughout the day, (wish they would have had the pretzels & puffs then) but it was very easy since I planned ahead..
Well, we are not all perfect and I'm glad that you only gained pound back!!!.
Good luck!..
Abby-you sound like you have a plan!!! I think that's the first step. I packed all my food too, which was a great step in NOT going overboard. I had some bread 2x and wine at two different dinners. I also had sugar free ice cream (I could have easily gotten the super fudge brownie kind, but opted for moderation and better choices!!), and also cereal 3 mornings. If I had planned the water better, THAT WOULD HAVE HELPED! Get your water bottle(s) ready before you head out in the morning. I like the ideas about the Medifast drinks, too, and the puffs.
Also, pack extra bars. If you get to a point where you're starving and it's a choice between an Medifast bar or a cheese pretzel....pick the bar!!! Good luck to you!!!..
