Just read your other post about your 27 lb loss in 3 months. Congratulations!! Are you exercising too?.
As for the bullet and the cubes, I have one also and have been using the alternative blade...the one that has two of them almost verticle. I'm not sure what they call it, but I think it was meant for coarser things. It makes mincemeat out of my cubes in just a few seconds. That's the only thing I can think of..
I also saw someone on here talking about buying ice cubes from some fast food restaurant, they apparently are smaller and easier to grind up..
Good luck to you and congrats again!!.
Karen..
I've been putting the cubes in a plastic bag before hand and smashing them up into smaller pieces with the side of a hammer. It drastically cuts down on my blending time and has a really good consistency for smoothies or whatever...
The Ice from Sonic drive through is little tiny cubes about 1cm. they work great..
Thanks everyone, I will try using that vertical blade and blend the cubes before I add pudding. If not, the hammer technique oughta do it LOL.
Our closest Sonic is an hour away, so that won't work, darn!.
Thanks!!!! I haven't exercised that much but have recently worked up to doing 1/2 hour strength or aerobics video around 4 times a week. I'd like to increase that to 5-6 days. But I cant see myself ever being one of those people who work out an hour a day every day and then strength train on top of that!..
Thank God we don't have a Sonic here. I would go through the drive through with the best of intentions and come out with a Sonic Buger w/cheese, onion rings, and a banana cream pie shake. So congrats on your strength to do that!..
I never heard of this Magic Bullet before seeing it mentioned on these discussion boards. Looked for it online - sounds great! But definitely don't want to go for the on-line deal, even though you get a lot of extras. Maybe next time I go to WalMart... Making ice cream that easily would make me so happy!..
