I'm just back from a trip, I just took lots of bars and puffs to eat while we were travelling. I grabbed ice and water on the road to make shakes, and had my trusty little food thermos with me, made up hot meals with hot water from the coffee machines at gas stations, let them sit for a couple hours and they are great..
No recipes needed, I was away for 4 days last week, lost 3.5 pounds, happy days..
Thanks, dilligaf. I guess I should have mentioned that I am pretty much out of bars, but have lots of oatmeal...to make stuff with...
Make Muffins!!.
2 pkg oatmeal.
2 pkg vanilla pudding.
2 pkg eggs.
2 tsp cinnamon.
2 tsp baking powder.
1 cup water.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, makes six muffins and I love them!..
Do you have brownies and eggs? Even if yo don't have Medifast eggs, maybe you could use egg beaters- I found this recipe to be great. I only made 3 muffins using it (6 seemed like adding to little batter for my muffin tin) and made them with a chocolate pudding. they were super moist- not sure if they would be this moist if you used the cocoa or shake and not the pudding. Also, I don't care for SF chocolate syrup so I left this out. 3 packages of MF- 3 awesome Medifast muffins!.
Here is the original recipe (from greenteadrinker).
Brownie muffins.
1 Medifast brownie mix.
1 Medifast cocoa or pudding or choc shake.
1 Medifast eggs.
1 tsp baking powder.
1/2 cup water.
1 Tbs sf choc syrup.
Mix well.
Makes 6 regular size muffins.
Bake at 350 8-10 min.
2 muffins =1meal.
Very tasty choc muffins with choc chips!..
I make a scone-type object from my oatmeal (especially great with blueberry in my opinion)....
1 package oatmeal.
1 T eggbeaters.
1/2 t baking powder.
2 - 3 T water.
Mix and let it sit for a few minutes.
Mix, transfer into a bowl sprayed with cooking spray and microwave for about 75 seconds (depends on your microwave). I flip mine over and microwave again for another 15 - 20 seconds but you might not need to..
Cool and package as convenient.
Don't forget to count the baking powder as a condiment and subtract a teensy bit from your lean for the Eggbeaters...
