Thanks for the recipe! I've been making muffins or quick bread from my oatmeal, but I love granola (crunchy munching). I can't wait to try this..
Emma..
How awesome!! This is my recipe from the first time I did MF. I love it too and am glad you guys enjoy the granola as well...
How do you make the muffins? and I saw someone say they make pancakes with the oatmeal can you use sugar free syrup? I'm on my 5th day so I'm new to this..
Thanks for the recipe I go to my grandchildrens soccer games and this will be the great thing to take to eat for a meal I may have to eat.. put in a bag and go. better than the bars. they get soft and if they have chocolate it melts thanks again I make about 4 or so batches and keep them in glass 1/2 pint canning jars and it is the right amount. I also use all the oatmeals and they are all good..
I made these today for my afternoon snack they were tasty thanks for the idea..
Im gonna have to try this because the oatmeal is terrible every way ive tried it so far..
I do this without the splenda (MF foods are too sweet for me as it is) and only 3 tablespoons of water. It makes a great portable meal...
It sounds like it would be a good portable meal. which would be great for me since I am forced to eat most of my meals in my car lol..
I made the Granola this morning, baking right now. I placed the oatmeal, splenda, cinnamon and water in a zip top sandwhich baggie. Mixed together in the bag. Snipped off a corner of the bag and piped little "kisses" of oatmeal on the baking sheet. No mess, no equipment to wash except the baking sheet..
Nancy..
Gosh, you girls are smart! I'll be trying this, too!..
Another quick way to get small pieces is to hold the lump in your hand and run it over a large hole flat cheese grater on to the cookie sheet. Just hold the grater flat a few inches up and roll and smoosh the oatmeal through. It will look kinda like rabbit poop...but it bakes up nice...
This sounds great - especially because I'm not fond of the oatmeal in it's "regular" format. Can anyone tell me though how much of the granola makes a "meal"? I'd like to try and make some it this evening to share with one of my friends at work who's on Medifast also...
I made this granola for the first time this weekend and I LOVE IT! I was not a fan of the oatmeal but I will definately be ordering some more now that I've discovered this recipe. Thanks so much to all of you creative Medifast cooks out there for sharing your discoveries with us...
