I am glad to find out about Soyrizo! I loved chorizo until I found out what was in it - YUCK! (and I am not talking about the fat!) I will have to see if I can find it somewhere. Where do you usually find it, and in what department of the store?..
Oh, I love eggs cooked like this! Thank you what a wonderful idea!..
Yeah I agree on using the stove top directions. I never even tried the microwave..i just couldnt fathom eating nuked eggs...seemed to me like that dust/water batter couldnt possibly turn into a light and fluffy scrambled egg..
I love the eggs!!!..
Ok... what is Soyrizo... Is it an oil.
Thank you..
Soyrizo resembles chorizo, which is a Mexican/Spanish sausage made of pork "mystery meat". I grew up eating it with eggs for breakfast, but didn't enjoy it as much when I learned what it's made of. Soyrizo is made of soy protein, though. I found it in the local health food store (lucky to live in Southern California) and was hooked. But they sell it at Vons, which is a big chain supermarket. I use El Burrito brand, but I think Melissa's health foods makes one too.

Oh, I forgot- it's in the refrigerated section with all of the vegetarian stuff- the tofu, soy cold cuts and other fake meat...
Hi ..
I know that Walmart does carry the soyrizo. For anyone that has a Walmart near By. It is in the refrigerated section with the Healthy foods, Organic and Soy Stuff. In Our Walmart it is in the produce section..
Hope this helps..
