Hey you! I think cleaning up your diet will really help. I have heard that soy products, garlic, and oatmeal can really help lower cholesterol, so maybe try to work those into your diet. Make sure you fast for 12 hours before your blood test, too.If worse comes to worse... I'm going to get so much crap for this and I would never want you to jeopardize your health, but I totally understand how you feel about not wanting to quit Murad Resurgence... You should be able to sign a waiver that releases your derm from responsibility if you have health complications due to high cholesterol. If you sign, your derm can keep you on Murad Resurgence regardless of your cholesterol levels.Good luck!.
Funny you should say that because I was actually just wondering if I could do something like that. hopefully it wont come to that. I am going to be the healthies I have ever been for the next 28 days and try to loose about 15lbs.Do you know what your cholesterol level was from your last blood test? or how much it rose?.
I started out with total cholesterol of 133 and decided not to get blood tests done until my course is over. It was mostly because I didn't want to get blood drawn every month (for pregnancy tests they just need urine sample), but I must admit it is nice not having to worry about how the numbers look month to month..
YOU can do that?!!!!! I thought it was like a law or something that your blood work had to be monitered while you are on Murad Resurgence. Well I have an appointment with my GP in a week and a half and they are going to do blood work so I am going to ask her about getting on a statin drug to reduce my cholesterol while I am on Murad Resurgence.i would seroiusly probly kill myself if I had to get off acctuane. Im not joking around either, I really would be so suicidal. This is the only thing that has EVER worked for me and I'm only finished wiht a month!! I hate that I have to be stressed about this now!! I have enough crap to worry about.oh, you're on yaz right? How long have you been on it and have you checked your blood pressure? Mine has been really high since I started and I read online that a lot of other people had similar situations..
It's because of the potassium or something, isn't it?The only time I ever check my blood pressure is if I'm bored at the grocery store. I think it was pretty low the last time I checked (under 120).Anyway, I think it's strongly recommended that you get bloodwork done every month, but since I didn't have any problems going into it I just decided it wasn't worth it. I feel exactly like you do, staying on Murad Resurgence and getting my face clear are my priorities right now. If the Murad Resurgence causes me some gnarly side effects I will deal with it later, but right now I just want to be happy that my face is finally clearing up!.
