Good for you. Focus on the positives and not the falling off the wagon. You have done so well - you can get there...
Thanks kjean, and yup I'm now refocused, looking at the positives and moving on..
The thing about adversity is that it can make you stronger...............if you let it..
Wow!! Congratulations you deserve a great big Medifast ...
Thanks for being such a great role model and showing us all that once you've been off program....you can get back on and succeed! You go girl!..
This is great! I am so impressed at what you have already lost. I have just ended my 2nd week and have lost about 17 pounds. I say about because my analog scale is so old I cant really read the smaller lines, so I'm waiting for my new digital one to come in the mail..
Grats and welcome back ^_~..
I keep thinking of Mohamed Ali, everyone made such a fuss that he was 3 times world heavy weight champion, well you know that means that he had lost it, and had to win it back!! Sometimes it takes a 'loss' to make us realize what we have, even if it's only a loss of direction..
Sandra, as you know sometimes it's the behind the scenes help that gets us through the bad patches, thank goodness for having that person in place..
Earthsoar, WOW 17 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome, well done keep it up. I'm sure you don't need any warning to not be dissapointed if your new scales weigh heavier, I find no two are the same, so just plot my progress by the fancy digital ones, but still have and old set that we use for weighing stuff on the farm, they weigh lighter, so I stand on them just to feel good sometimes ...
Denny it helps to have great friends like you too..
I love the digital scale. There is no fudging that needle when the display is LCD! On our old one I used to hang my toes over the edge to get that needle down just a little. Oh the silly games! No games with this scale. You are on or off....and it doesn't lie...
You are such an inspiration. I have been having a hard time refocusing and staying on board. I do well all week, only to undo it with my husband on the weekends. But seeing your success and reading your flops...you inspired me to stop selling myself short! Thanks so much for being here!..
Hello, Denny.
I just posted to your other entry about going off plan for a week. I had asked for you to keep us posted on how you are doing. Then I saw this thread and realized that you had already updated us on how it's gone since you got back on program..
Congrats!..
LOL, and I updated there..
For here, just to say, I've really got my groove back, not hungry, can ignore the food that the men eat, back to making good choices, and it looks like the scale is reflecting that...
Denny...you rock! What a great inspiration for climbing back on board...
Wow you are really working the program. What great success. Congratulations...
Hey there my friend....you go....you are amazing.......so proud of you and I really need to get back on the band wagon myself. Keep going.....you can do it :-).
Barb..
