There are so many ways to use the eggs, look on the receipe board. Orangeblood has a couple dozen or so. Just put eggs in the search engine, and you will find all kinds of ideas. Hope that helps..
I put them in my magic bullet for a few minutes with a half cup of water and a little Mrs.Dash seasoning. It makes them frothy. Then I spray an omlet pan with nonstick spray. Once the pan is hot, I pour in the frothy eggs. Once the bottom is really set and they are about half done, I either put a few mushrooms, a few sprinkles of cheese, or salsa on top. Then I put in the oven on broil until the top is light brown..
They make a really filling omlette this way...
How about pitas, calzones, muffins or pretty much anything you want! In my signature is a link to my recipe blog. Enjoy!..
OB!!!! So happy to see you on the boards!!! I hope you are feeling better, we miss you when you're not here!!!! HUGS!!!!..
Hey, How are you? What I did with the eggs is add some salt and pepper, 1 pat of butter and 1 tabsp of half and half. Put in micro-wave and zap 25 seconds, take out chop up and re micro-wave do about 4 times comes out like real ones...
Are you cooking them right after mixing them? If so, try mixing them up about 2 hours before you plan to eat them and set them in the fridge - this gives them time to fully rehydrate. That makes ALL the difference in the world in taste, texture, everything..
I make an omlete with mushrooms and spinich. OMG - it's not exactly like real eggs but it's damn close and it's very filling...
I always cut up 3 cherry tomatoes into quarters and add a bunch of fresh cilantro. I put everything in the shaker jar with the egg mix and 1/4 cup water and salt & pepper. I then scramble everything together in the pan. Absolutely LOVE IT!!!! I make that at least 3-4 times a week...
Cook them on the stove, not microwave, and add salsa to them as a topping once they are cooked.....great!..
I'm living on OrangeBlood's banana muffins....you just need a banana pudding and a scrambled egg packet...look it up. They are light and airy....they've replaced the bars for me...and now I don't have so many carbs. I use my old popover pan and make up 6 at a time..
OB is my hero!!.
