MF says AVERAGE loss per week of 2 lbs is healthy and you have actually had a 5 lb average loss over two weeks. Don't despair! Your body is adjusting to the new way of eating and your scale will catch up! I've had different losses each week, but my downward trend is right on! Do you weigh your L&G? I ALWAYS do but have read that some didn't and then found they had not been eating enough! Just thought I'd mention that to you in case you don't use a digital scale for your L&G. If you aren't getting enough calories, it can stop the weight loss as your body is trying to conserve...
Did you measure before you started, if you didn't, then measure yourself now. Sometimes when you lose a large amount like 10lbs and that is a lot (think about 10lbs of potatoes) that's what you lost) your body has to readjust to the new weight and it then releases inches. So you may be losing inches now as a result of that. So get that tape measure out and go to work young lady...
It seems to be pretty common....your body does a BIG whoosh one week and then a Whoa Nelly the next...hang in there, you aren't doing anything wrong! Your body is just trying to figure out WTH is going on!~..
Best advise...be patient and give your body time to adjust...
Im there with you Tracey! Im well into my second week and I have actually gained one pound back. I havent gone over 1100 calories, and am usually around 900, so I know thats not real weight. Thank you for posting first, it kept me from feeling terrible we will get through this and see success! Have you seen the awesome after Halloween costume photos this week? Oh my.... AWESOMELY INSPIRING is not an overstatement. WOW...
Elizabeth.... the top calories is 1000 (NOT 1100). I find I'm eating in the 800 range most days and am using MY PLAN suggestions, most days. I notice that MP seems to 'mix it up' on the daily totals, which I think helps fool the body...
My second week both times I have done Medifast has been significantly less than the first. I agree with the above posters, that your body is simply adjusting and don't worry! 10 pounds in 2 weeks is AMAZING!..
