So, my boyfriend and I somehow got in the conversation of how many each other has slept with. He told me his number, and I told him how many guys I have slept with. The number of girls he's slept with kind of surprised me a little, as I thought it was a little high, and vice versa. But then again, the other part of me was a little surprised, since I actually thought it was a little higher. He is seven years older than me, and both of us have only had about two serious relationships each. Still, I now regret asking him, and I also regret telling him how many partners I have been with. Just out of curiousity, are there couples out there that have told each other how many each one has slept with, and if so, what was your reaction?Thanks,C..

I generally dont ask a guy that question and it has never been asked of me. Too many bad feelings usually come out of those discussions...

Don't ask a question to which you cannot handle the answer..

There is NOTHING you can do about how many partners you (or he) has "already" been with. However , there is something you can do about how many partners you are with in the future. Plain and simple, it is not going to do your relationship (thru Match.com) any good to dwell on this fact. You need to focus on the NOW.

That being said , I have ALWAYS asked my previous boyfriends how many women they had been intimate with. I asked knowing that the answer could range greatly but, I wanted to know for my own health/safety...

Ha ha, didn't need to ask as he told me himself - 'stopped counting at around 180'. LOL. He wasn't lying either - have proof. What can you do? He's 40, tall dark, gorgeous and Italian LOL. I am no saint myself with my ehm..around 50 I thhink lol, at 36, and told him so - if anyone can deal with it, he can, and does. I lovingly call him 'prostitute' sometimes - he really likes it.

Makes him more of a man in my eyes...

Interesting question but bottom line is not to live in the past but to be fully in the moment, which is the present relationship..
