Your question was: Should you kiss on a 1st date?.
I voted Other - because it so depends on the chemistry, the guy and my mood..
Carrie..
I am usually the kind of girl who says don't kiss on the first date. haha my opinion changed when I met my boyfriend. We had a really great time, chemistry was there, and he asked me if he could kiss me. It was like something out from the movie. starry sky, sweet guy, and a nice time: would be too crazy to pass it up. haha. I should stop rambling on.
Oh and by the way, the guy I kissed on the first date using Match.com and I have been together for 2 years now. ukia..
I had to chuckle as this was such a nice memory for us! After our first date using Match.com (at a very swanky restaurant), he walked me to my car. I gave him a hug and he asked if he could take me out the next Sat. night. I told him that he could kiss me if he wanted to he took full advantage of that. The chemistry was unbelievable! We joked about people driving by (it was a pretty main street) and how we hoped no one we knew was going by, LOL! .
We've been together for almost 3 years and married for about 15 months..

Congrats on the marriage! hopefully we will get hitch soon. Glad to know I wasn't the only one putting out on the first date. haha, Carole!ukia..
Yep! That's why I included the "other" option... some people have pretty firm rules about whether or not they kiss on a first date, while many simply play it by ear.

Awww... that's so sweet! And, it's one very good reason why it's important to be flexible in life.

It's not an either - or answer. Sometimes it's a natural end to a wonderful evening - if the vibes are right, go for it. Other times well, it would give off wrong signals and/or you like the person but want to take it slowly. In those cases a hug is nice..
