If you dont want to be just a booty call then you should probably say something to him the next time he calls.  If he calls and asks to get together you can tell him that you would prefer to go out  to a movie, to dinner, whatever you like.  If he says no or hems and haws then you need to stand your ground and make sure that he understands through your words and actions that you do not wish to just be a booty call.
