Does anyone have a recipe for Spaghetti? I have been craving Spaghetti for a while now. This is the end of my second week on MF. I am sticking to this strictly the first month but I am getting ready to order my second month of food and want to know what I should include for a Spaghetti recipe.

Also has anyone ever heard of artachoke Spaghetti noodles instead of wheat Spaghetti noodles? Could I use those?.

Thanks for any help I get...

Check out shirataki noodles... they are noodles made from yam fiber and are allowed as part of the green of a lean and green. A good website is miraclenoodle .com. Artichoke noodles have as much carbs as regular wheat noodles and aren't permitted on program. There are lots of posts in regard to shirataki noodles including recipes in the recipe section of the board. Hope this helps..

Try Spaghetti Squash. If you haven't tried it, it's pretty good. Cut the squash in 1/2 and scoup out the seeds. Put it in a corningware dish insides down, cover with saran wrap and microwave for 8 -10 minutes..

The squash comes out in strings like spaghetti. You can put a little molly mcbutter on it and sauce. It would only count as a vegetable..

Good luck...

I asked Medifast if we could have spaghetti squash and they said no. Too many carbs I think it was awhile ago. Sorry Alison, I wish we could too cuz those shirataki noodles make me gag!..

You're right redsox! I just found the other thread. Now I'm gonna use my Walden Farms marinara sauce and have some spaghetti. I'm also gonna try it with a shrimp scampi recipe I found on page 10. Yay!..

I put my spaghetti sauce that I make over my cooked frozen vegetable mix, broccoli and cauliflower and squash mix. Very filling...

Go under search and look for spaghetti squash. There are a couple of good recipes there. One of mine is there too. In fact, you could just click on my name and find more posts by me. The title is spaghetti squash and I think it's a pretty good recipe, but that's just me..
