WOW, that is a great idea, I will try this tomorrow for sure. Thanks for the tip! I love the pumpkin spiced latte @ Starbucks but it has so much sugar!..
I make a drink along the same lines if you have a Keurig or similar coffee maker.
1 vanilla (or choc or dark choc) shake mix.
Pumpkin spice coffee (I make the largest cup, about 9.5 oz).
Mix in blender and serve as is or pour over ice for a cold frappacino.
I make this for my drive into work. I also use other flavored coffees to keep it interesting...
I did this using sugar free pumpkin syrup, cold coffee, vanilla shake and ice. SO YUMMY!..
I noticed a pumpkin spice herbal tea in the store and bought some to try. 0 calories. Fingers crossed .....
THANK YOU!!!! I was addicted to those last fall, and was wondering how in the world I'm going to get through this season without it... will try tomorrow morning. I LOVE YOU!..
Made this this morning, and it wasn't exactly the same, but WOW, close enough for me! Thanks- now I can get through the vanilla shakes!..
The tea is Bigelow. It isn't like a latte, but it's good. I think it will be enough to satisfy me. They also had egg nog variety and some others...
Got my pumpkin pie spice this weekend. I think I will try it tonight with decaf...
Here is my silly question. Do you mix the shake mix with water first before hand??? Or is it poured straight in coffee?..
I mix the dry shake mix with the coffee. I like my full strength coffee for the flavor and the caffeine..
Stash Premium makes a fabulous decaf Pumpkin Pie tea. Twinings has a spiced apple chai, and Bigelow has eggnog and gingerbread. It does help with sweet cravings...
The Fresh Market has a great Pumpkin Spice coffee. I can drink it black - which I never would have believed before I started MF. I mix the coffee with either Cappuccino or Vanilla shake, add a little ice and Voila! Pumpkin Spice drink just like Starbucks/Caribou. It's one of my favorites!.
-Natalie..
Where did you get SF Pumpkin syrup, CodyJo??.
I have been so depressed I can't have the Stbx latte I love it so this time of year... Will definitely be trying this. Awesome. Thx!..
This has nothing to do with pumpkin spice (please don't mind me - I have a bit of ADD and WeightyThoughts' mention of tea made me think of this)....
Another tea that's really wonderful is Chocolate Raspberry Bliss from Celestial Seasonings. When I have a yen for chocolate, a cup of this tea really satisfies!.
I found it in my local grocery store around Valentine's Day, and after drinking my first cup I went back and bought every box on the display!.
Deb..
Oooh, will have to look for that. I just enjoy a nice cup of tea...
This isn't quite the same, but it might be good: Bigelow vanilla chai tea with vanilla shake..
I have been to three different stores today and haven't found either the pumpkin spice or the eggnog. I could break down and buy from Amazon, but the economical method is buying six boxes at a time!.
Hoping more stores start stocking them soon...
That sound awesome. I think I am having THAT for breakfast in the morning. Thanks for the suggestion...
I found Pumpkin Spice and Pumpkin Pecan coffee at the Cracker Barrel gift shop. It comes in little bags that make a 10 cup pot. 3 bags for $3.99. Sooooo good!..
Here's another variation. Try it with coffee and cappuccino mix and pumpkin spice. Very yummy...
Bummer. You might try a natural food store. Gooseberries here has a huge tea section...
Thanks Whole Foods and Trader Joes will be my next destination!..
Made it this afternoon. Didn't have pumpkin spice, so I subbed in apple pie spice. Whirred it up in my single serve blender, which made it very frothy. Yummy!..
Oh my how I love my starbuck holiday flavors....
All I have to say is OH MY Pumpkin Spice Latte you have stolen my heart I could not drink it fast enough...Next on the shopping list is some peppermint extract to make the peppermint mocha latte..YEAH!!!..
