A plateau only breeds discouragement if you let it. I had a 2 year plateau on WW. Now that I moved here to MF, I know what I was doing wrong. On MF, my plateau was at about the same point in my total weight loss journey as yours was. I think it's our body resting and adjusting. Face it, we're making it do things that aren't easy or normal for it.
It was certainly worth waiting it out for me. I'm now within reach of my goal and I'm pleased with the plan and it's results, just as you are. It's worth it. You're worth it...
Congrats on moving past the plateau...when that would happen to me, I wouldn't weigh myself. My first round with MF, after not losing for 2 weeks, I dumped the scale at the neighbors house and didn't weigh in for 3 weeks. I knew I was losing though because my clothes were fitting better. In the end, I had lost 7 pounds. The closer you get to goal, the harder it's going to become to lose it. I loved WW, but it didn't love me.
Too many food choices and I'm a "carbaholic" so I finally gave them up and came back here. Try to gauge by your clothes and not the scale for a few weeks. You can do it! You've done great so far!..
Good job sticking to it. You are stronger than any plateau!..
I am happy for you! Glad you moved right out of the Plateau!..
The plateu's are rough but they happen. Good job on sticking through it. Most people don't. I have had a lot of weeks in the last 2 months where I lost noting and as much as a pound. I have been on plan for 2 months now and am down 20 pounds. My body just likes to take it's time.
Just keep going with your plan and know that you are doing this for yourself first and foremost...
