I usually just grill talapia on the cuisinart grill (or a george foreman or whatever you have) season it the way you like it. Sometimes I use lemon pepper, sometimes garlic and herb seasoning, sometimes I use a spicier blend) You could also broil it for a few minutes as well. Sometimes I just panfry it (use some Pam so it doesn't stick). Pretty simple stuff..
I have frozen asparagus spears from Schwann's that I also just grill on the cuisinart to go with it. I have also grilled frozen green beans the same way. Other times I make a salad with grape tomatoes, green pepper, mushrooms or whatever veggie I have on hand to go with the fish...
I was also looking for some good seasong to put on white fish ...
I just did Tilapia last night and it is one of my favorites! So so easy to do...spray a pan with Pam and slightly cook some purple onion or white onion chopped pieces, put the Tilapia in and Season with Chipotle Seasoning and Sea Salt or Sea Salt with Garlic. Let cook a minute or two and add some pico de gallo on top and then cook some fresh spinach on the other side of the pan (use a big pan). Spray spinach with I can't believe it's not butter and salt lightly. Delicious and taste restaurant quality!..
I've put up a great recipe for Southwestern tilapia- you can check out the cooking video at http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-xdIL6x-4Q.
And the recipe to print out can be found here.

Thank you Stacy! I really appreciate your videos! Keep them coming...
I use a tsp of walnut oil, some onion powder and basil in a pan. It's such a good fish to cook!..
We use EVOO and "roasted garlic and herb" spice (we have Weber brand now but I also like McCormick's). ENJOY!..
Microwave Filet Fish - I have not tried this, but I plan to...one of my co-workers went fishing and the captain took filet redsnapper, put it on a plate, put a thin layer of mayonaise on it, then sprinkled seasoning (lemon pepper or whatever seasonings you like) on it, then microwaved for 20 seconds!!! He said it was white and flakey!! They ate part of like that and then took the rest mixed it with relish and made a spread for crackers. We would need to keep the ingredients within plan, but it sounds good!!.
If anyone is game to try, let us know!!.
God Bless and Ride Safe....

I made tilapia with finely chopped up red pepper, purple onion, and a few green olives in the oven at 400 for about 15 minutes. It was awesome! The recipe calls for mayo on the fish & then the veggies, but you can skip that...
Main thing to remember, is tilapia is VERY mild and will take on the flavor like crazy! It is very easy to get carried away. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cilantro and lime with some garlic and pepper, but if you use too much lime it will just taste only like lime. but it's so good with cilantro lime. mmmm. I just had it tonight actually...
