I have this and I love it! I use it almost daily. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product..
I have a Ready Set Go machine and I LOVE it, use it several times a day BUT... I have found that they are less than honest in their advertising. I ordered the buy one get one free BUT the second "free" one does not have any pans with it. You have to order them separately. I ordered the "pan set" thinking that I would be getting the 4 pans (2 per month) that was shown on the add. Not so.
No where in their add does it tell you the second machine does not have pans nor does it say you will get what ever pan they want to send not the ones shown in the add. My timer knob broke and I got the royal runaround before I could get them to send a replacement knob. I was willing to pay for it. Now both my daughter and I are having trouble with food sticking to the pans no matter how much Pam we use. Steer clear of the Ready Set Go...
I have the Ready Set Go, got it at a kitchen store. Used it several times and it is really handy for such tiny meals. I have not had any problems with things sticking but I am ultra careful with any non-stick cooking surfaces and only use soft towels to clean it. I have had a sandwich maker in the past and couldn't find one in my local stores and then came across the Ready Set Go. I paid 40 bucks, the jury is still out since it is pretty new still. I would have preferred to find a $10 sandwich maker I keep hearing about but not in my neck of the woods...
They have a buy-out store near me and we just got these - I just picked one up this weekend. I was going to try and experiment with a pancake mix and a cut up sausage in it. I hope people who do have it post their recipes. I will make sure if I have a 'success' I will post...
MT Cup, what do you use your Cruisinart Griddle for? It didn't look like it had plates that you could pour in a liquid substance and have it cook (similar to pouring the soup/egg beater combo into the sandwich maker)...
No it's not like a sandwich maker. It's a grill/griddle/panini maker. So I use it for pancakes, eggs, hamburgers, steaks, chicken breasts, grilled veggies and sandwiches. Also good for home made OP fajitas...
