I like to have mine cooked as an omelette. I put a bit or mushroom and tomato and a tiny bit of onion. then a half slice of american cheese or a triangle of laughing cow. My husband uses fat free or molly mccheese, but I like the real thing. It is worth the extra 40 calories to me...
I too tried them the first time and couldn't get them down. I decided to whip them up with some onions, mushrooms and also sprayed the frying pan with ICBINB spray and it tasted pretty good.
Melissa - I saw your birthday is 3/28 and you have a 30 lb. weight loss goal until your birthday. Mine is 3/29 and I've also set the same goal. Good luck!.
Cheryl..
HUGE difference when you cook them on the stove. You don't really have to add so much to them, they are good with salt and pepper. I usually put a little onion in the pan and some FF cheddar on them, tastes like an omelet...
What a great idea! Why didn't I think of that sooner? A veggie fritata! For those days that I just can't face another SALAD! Thank you!..
I loooovvveee the eggs (isn't it funny how we all have different tastes?) I have an omelette with a tablespoon of salsa on it every morning. Once in a while, I put a tablespoon of FF cream cheese inside, and no salsa. I have never tried cooking the eggs in the microwave, but I would imagine they would be yucky...
Can we scramble our own eggs instead of Medifast eggs?..
I am glad you got them to work for you. I have also found that they do better cooked in a pan.
I really like the eggs...
Jensen yes, you can have real eggs, but it is part of your lean and green. 2 eggs equals the full lean for lean and green. I usually have an omelet with 1 whole egg and egg whites as my lean and green once or twice a week. I did not like the Medifast eggs when I tried them, although I'm thinking I should not have tossed the box after reading this thread...
Oooh, that fritatta sounds like a good thing to take to work for lunch... I'm on it!..
I just absolutely love the eggs now!! I've been having them everyday and now they're almost gone. I'll have to get plenty on my next order..
Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I've tried the Salsa omelette and the laughing cow cheese wedges inside. I'm so glad I tried them on the stove after the nasty microwave mishap. (FYI - microwaved Medifast eggs smell really bad too!!)..
