My 2nd question is: I've been looking for advice on this situation I'm in, and I really appreciate the help!I've been seeing this guy for the past month or so, we've gone out several times, things have gotten a little physical, etc. although we haven't slept together yet. When we started dating, I fell into the text messaging trap, which I usually HATE, and we texted almost all day just for fun for the first few weeks. I have a busy schedule with college and running a side business, he works full time and goes to college as well, and so I'm totally understanding and appreciative when we can only get together once or twice a week. We haven't discussed exclusivity or anything of the sort yet, but I'm feeling almost ready to take that step in the near future with him.The past week or so, the texting dwindled, which is TOTALLY fine by me, but he's been giving me a call most days to say hello. We haven't been on a formal date using Match.com in a bit, just late night 'cuddling and watching movies', though hes suggested going on a date using Match.com and then it fell through somehow.My problem lies in my own faults.
Is there a way to make myself less available? Make him miss me a little, want me more again without seeming like I've lost interest and seeming cold? Sorry for the long rant. I am just so otherworldly confused!THANK YOU!!..
Why do you think you need to make yourself less available to some one you like...thats playing games and thats not something you should bring to a relationship. You are thinking to much. Relax!..
I appreciate such a well-written and well-thought response!I suppose just hearing from friends and family that I've made myself way too available for him to "stay interested" was eating at me, despite it not really making sense.I'm going to attempt to see him before 9PM soon, haha, as that's the when intentions are best I've always said .I'm hoping that the idea of mystery stays present!Thanks!..
