My second free week of Medifast that I received was the same as the first free week. Swiss Mocha shake, Peach oatmeal, Vanilla Pudding, Hot Cocoa, Chicken Noodle Soup. However, I've heard that others have received different things...
Waitng for my first freebies becuase it didnt' come in my first shipment. but I hate the oatmeal and the soup. so I hope mine is different : )..
Mine was the same as noted above so was DH. I think they are all the same and you have no choice. Soak the soups and oatmeal...
Just take what you don't like and exchange it - call Customer Service. They even exchange stuff from the free week. I did it with both my free weeks. Also if you order a diabetic product you get a different free week. Sorry don't remember the mix of it. I like the diabetic shakes because they are less sickly sweet and they have a ton less carbs...
When my 2nd free week arrived it was the same as my 1st, so I called that day & exchanged the peach oatmeal & vanilla pudding...they were very nice about it...it was worth me mailing it back cost less then $5 to do. I actually stuck those 2 boxes in an empty Medifast pretzle box and shipped it back in that....2 boxes fit perfectly in it!!!..
That is what I got in both of my free weeks...
I got the same five today. Which is awesome because I like all of them except the vanilla pudding (which I have yet to try) and forgot to order a couple. I like grinding up the soup and adding water to make crackers. I had "nachos" last night as part of my L&G serving!.
I thought I read that you couldn't exchange the free stuff. Good to know others have had success!..
I liked the vanilla pudding the first... 2? times I tried it, now I can't even stomach it...
Here's how I handle the pudding: (I can't stand the slimy texture).
I mix it like a drink but I put crushed ice in the mini blender (bullet style blender) and use less water than I would for a shake. It make a decent ice cream type texture. Some people add a tablespoon of cream cheese to it (if I remember right, that's 1 condiment - check that out first! Don't 'quote me' on that). I found that it didn't make a difference to me so I don't use it.
The amounts are kind of hit and miss. like I said I use crushed ice from my ice maker - I would GUESS I put about 1 cup of crushed ice in there and maybe half a cup of water?.
The product in the pudding that makes it set up also helps give the mock ice cream a better texture...
Interesting... it's definitely the texture that bothers me, which is weird because I enjoy the chocolate pudding..
I am definitely going to try that, and a lot of times I struggle to find ways to get my healthy fat in and regular cream cheese counts as a healthy fat... If this works it just may be my new evening snack...
